Microneedling
Microneedling is a medical grade procedure that creates micropores in the skin. By creating these pores the skin promotes collagen regeneration as part of the healing cascade. This also allows for creams and serums to be better absorbed into the skin. There is minimal discomfort during the procedure, which includes numbing of the face. Another plus, there is very little to no downtime!
Why should I get microneedling?
Microneedling is one of the most efficient ways to infuse serums and vitamins into the skin, and can be used with PRP
Microneedling reduces the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks
Microneedling can be a little painful, that's why we apply numbing cream for 20-30 minutes prior to treatment
There is little to no downtime. Make-up should not be worn 24 hours after treatment. Redness is expected afterwards
